Incline Village, NV — HDGIANTS has released of a new version of its HD MediaStore Software Developer Kit (SDK) which provides the technology for embedding its HDGIANTS’ high definition entertainment store inside media server devices. Partners can expect a simplified implementation process that makes it easy to develop against, improved catalog browsing and improved account management being two of the new main features.
“We are extremely excited to bring this new version of our SDK to our partners,” said Ray Horst, senior software engineer of HDGIANTS. “The features and benefits that we offer through this new version make implementations faster and easier. The improved documentation should dramatically decrease development time.”
A consolidated media shopping cart now allows for support of both music and movie purchases eliminating the need for customers to have to visit two separate stores to get all of their entertainment. Additionally, a simplified search implementation has updated the methods for browsing artists and albums delivering a more user-friendly experience.
This latest version of the HD MediaStore SDK also delivers a significantly better Account Management experience. Customers now have two levels of access. The first allows immediate entrance into the HD MediaStore for browsing the catalog. The second is the secure login that allows a customer to manage their account.
