The Home Technology Specialists of America (HTSA) released its 2015-2016 calendar of events, which will also mark a significant 20th anniversary milestone for the organization.
At its foundation, HTSA is a cooperative association that leverages the strengths of a unified team of leading home technology professionals and premium vendors to increase buying power. But today, HTSA is much more than that. Over the last two decades, HTSA has evolved from what many would consider a conventional buying group into an aggressive, innovative marketing engine and trusted business development partner.
“We are changing the perception of what it means to be a buying group,” said Bob Hana, managing director at HTSA. “For us, the last 20 years have been about adaptation and innovation. We’ve challenged ourselves to be better and work smarter, resulting in our ability to deliver premium products and unparalleled service to consumers across the country.”
Relationships are just the beginning — according to the organization, HTSA strives to continually add value, increase education initiatives, and arm its members and vendor partners with cutting-edge tools that not only cultivate business across the channel, but also allow for deeper consumer awareness and adoption.
Evolving from traditional A/V and home theater specialists, HTSA members have embraced and become the leading authority on a variety of connected home elements, including control and automation, security, climate, networking and more. Additionally, HTSA recently announced a strategic alliance with Nationwide Marketing Group, further solidifying the group’s leadership in the connected home space.
“This year is as much about honoring our anniversary as it is about celebrating the future,” said Hana. “This is an exciting time for HTSA, the channel and technology consumers. We are eager to kick off an historic year with an active, energetic schedule of events.”
