Fairfax, VA–The International Communications Industries Association Inc.(ICIA) has changed its name to InfoComm International, capitalizing on the strength of the association’s tradeshow brand and reflecting its membership composition.
“Changing our name to InfoComm International leverages the associations tradeshow InfoComm brand name, which is well known throughout the world,” said Randal A. Lemke, Ph.D., executive director. “We believe the name InfoComm International provides better name recognition for prospective members, consolidates the usage of various brand names within the association, and better reflects the high-tech union between information technology and the audiovisual industry.
InfoComm (www.infocomm.com) is currently the largest annual conference and exhibition for A/V buyers and sellers worldwide.
