Major Custom Installation Acquisition Complete

Home Technologies Inc. has completed its acquisition of privately-held Bellevue, WA-based Premier Technology Group Inc.

Bellevue, WA–Home Technologies Inc., a residential home automation systems integrator, has completed its acquisition of privately-held Bellevue, WA-based Premier Technology Group Inc.

Prior to the acquisition, Premier was the largest remaining local independent custom electronics firm with 2003 revenues of more than $5.7 million. The acquisition positions Home Technologies Inc. as the states largest private residential systems integrator and second largest in the nation when comparing combined 2003 revenues against national rankings. In addition to securing domination in the Seattle-area market, the acquisition provides Home Technologies with an established presence in Whitefish, Montana and Vancouver, WA to serve the Portland area. Premiers three locations have become wholly-owned subsidiaries of Home Technologies Inc. and have changed their names to Home Technologies-Bellevue, Home Technologies-Vancouver and Home Technologies-Whitefish.

In July Home Technologies acquired Digitech Home Systems, then the areas largest residential systems integrator. Home Technologies has selected the Northwest for launching its consolidation strategy in the highly fragmented dealer market and is building a dealer network that will offer standardized installation services and simplified purchasing packages. Home Technologies-Bellevue now has more than 100 employees. Home Technologies Inc. and its dealer locations plan to continue adding staff throughout the year.

Lee Travis, Home Technologies Inc., CEO and chairman of the board, stated, By acquiring the best and the brightest in the area we help to assure our ability to leverage our combined strengths and realize our vision of significantly improving the purchasing and installation experience for buyers of home automation technology.

Travis added, We are anxious to refine and prove our model in the Northwest as we set our sites on using our strategy to revitalize new markets up and down the West Coast.
