While AI is certainly the future of search and information, in its current state, it allows for a good number of inaccuracies and hallucinations. It is akin to using Wikipedia for research — a great starting point, but check your sources.
If you have sources you know and trust, Google now allows users to select those sites as “Preferred Sources,” which will appear in the top spots of its search results.

When using Google Search on news topics, there will be a star icon next to the “Top Stories” section. Click on the star icon next to the Residential Systems link, and we will be added to your favorite sources.
