Marantz Adds New Network Receivers

Marantz has added two new network AV receivers with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth to its 2015 standard full-size home theater lineup.

Marantz has added two new network AV receivers with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth to its 2015 standard full-size home theater lineup.

The SR6010 and SR7010 Premium Network AV Receivers are designed for home theater and stereo audio performance, paired with wireless connectivity and ease of setup and use. The products are expected to be available in October.

The SR6010 provides 110 watts of power per channel, with internal circuitry that handles all signals in a current feedback topology before they reach the speakers. Marantz HDAM (Hyper Dynamic Amplifier Module) technology, shared with Marantz Reference Series components, provides low-noise, wideband performance in an all-discrete configuration.

The SR6010 comes equipped with a Dolby Atmos decoder and Dolby Surround up-mixer, which deliver multi-dimensional sound through height or in-ceiling speakers or Dolby Atmos elevation speakers. On its own, the SR6010 can support a 5.1.2 Atmos configuration, but through its nine-channel processor, adding an external two-channel amplifier will facilitate 5.1.4 or 7.1.2 configurations.
