New EXPO Exhibitors Look to Stand Out

Each EXPO welcomes new manufacturers that are bursting onto the custom installation scene and exhibiting their wares for the first time. This year there are an impressive 90 companies new to the show floor. Each day we will highlight five of these companies and tell you why they should be added to your must-see list.

Display Development (Booth 927), a manufacturer of custom video display and projector systems, is introducing its In-Ceiling (IC) Series dual-lamp, three-chip DLP projectors. By using a high-performance motorized mirror system, the new IC Series projection systems are designed to eliminate the obtrusive presence of a bulky projection chassis mounted on the ceiling of a living space. The new projection systems also eliminate heat and noise typical of operating conventional ceiling-mounted projectors.

3vNet’s CB1 Control Bridge serves as a gateway for lighting control of a home automation system.

3vNet Inc. (Booth 1013) is a lighting control, home automation, and digital audio distribution company formerly known as Colorado vNet before it was purchased from Russound. The company’s CB1 Control Bridge and CG2 Control Gateway are plug-in computing modules based on an easy-to-use, easy to maintain product model that epitomizes the new 3vNet approach to modular, easy and affordable products.

BlueVolt (Booth 3500) is a provider of online education and training resources. Its Learning Management System (LMS) provides an e-learning platform that offers an extension of many company’s classroom training programs and allows dealers and installers access to a robust category of online courses and supplemental materials from any internet-connected computer, tablet or smartphone, at any time.

Celerity Technologies (Booth 1443) is a manufacturer founded in 2011 with extensive technical expertise in ASIC development, electrical, and mechanical engineering and fiber optics. Its fiber optic HDMI product with detachable connector, which is available in multiple pre-terminated lengths from 40 to 1000 feet, converts HDMI at the source to optical signals, eliminating attenuation and HDMI handshake issues at up to 1000 feet. After pre-wiring, the installer simply connects the detachable HDMI connector at the source and display locations. Together, these connectors take the place of the usual “sender/receiver” boxes that so many in the business incorrectly refer to as “baluns.”

Grace Motif currently represents Artcoustic Loudspeakers, Cineversum HD projectors, and IMAGE Screens in North America and the Caribbean and Waterfall Audio loudspeakers from France for USA and the Caribbean. Company President, John Caldwell has 30 years of executive sales and management experience building some of the CE industry’s most respected brands like a/d/s/, Kenwood, and McIntosh Labs. The all-glass enclosure, high-performance Waterfall Audio loudspeaker line will be demonstrated in booth 3246.
