NuVo Technologies is now taking orders for two new components for the Grand Concerto, Essentia, and Renovia audio systems.

NuVo’s new Music Port Server and Color Touch Pad

The Music Port Server is a source component that consolidates a home’s PC-based audio content from both Windows Media Player and iTunes while also accessing streaming audio from a variety of free and subscription Internet services. When paired with the new Color Touch Pad, the manufacturer says, a home’s music collection can take on a vibrant look with the 3.6-inch full-color touch display.

“The Music Port Server, and its natural connection to the Color Touch Pad, really accommodates the modern music-lover,” NuVo Technologies president and chief operating officer David Rodarte said. “Streaming audio content caters to the eclectic listener by offering variety in a fast, easy way, while digital audio files on a PC provide truly customized collections for an individual’s listening tastes. NuVo strives to innovate and design products that really deliver on ‘My music, my way.’ These two new offerings are the truest example of just that.”

Music Port Server (NV-MPS4)

The Music Port Server automatically gathers all audio from a home’s network (stored in any combination of MP3, WMA, M4A, and WAV formats), merges it into a complete music library and stores everything on the 320GB internal hard-drive. It features the capability to archive thousands of songs and the ability to access Sirius/XM radio, Pandora, and RadioTime.

With four audio outputs, the NV-MPS4 can serve up to four sources in a NuVo Grand Concerto, Essentia, or Renovia multi-room audio system.

Color Touch Pad (NV-CTP36)

In addition to browsing by artist, title, album, playlist, or genre (features found on all NuVo’s in-wall and wireless control pads) the new Color Touch Pad adds several features. Album art is displayed in full color on the screen and listeners now have the ability to rate and build their own personal music channels through Internet radio.

The Music Port Server and Color Touch Pad are listed with an MSRP of $2,499 and $999, respectively, and will begin shipping in early February.
