NuVo Releases AMX-Certified Driver for Wireless Audio System

NuVo Technologies, a manufacturer of high-fidelity multiroom audio systems, has released an AMX-certified driver for integrating the NuVo Wireless Audio System with AMX automation solutions.

NuVo Technologies, a manufacturer of high-fidelity multiroom audio systems, has released an AMX-certified driver for integrating the NuVo Wireless Audio System with AMX automation solutions.

The driver is now available for download from the AMX dealer website.

Simplifying dealer set-up and providing listeners with an easy-to-use interface, the new software lets any of AMX’s NetLinx central controllers operate the NuVo system. Now, without laborious programming, dealers can enable NuVo customers to select zones, navigate content, adjust volume, and more, all through an AMX device, the company says.

“Pursuing compatibility with automation partners and ensuring that integration is easy to implement is part of our commitment to both dealers and end-users to provide high-performing audio systems,” said NuVo’s vice president of engineering, Rick Kukulies. “This driver was developed in order to elevate the user-experience in projects where both NuVo and AMX systems are employed. The AMX certification of the software says we’ve accomplished that.”

The NuVo Wireless Audio System is a high-fidelity wireless solution designed specifically for custom installers. Comprised of multiple interchangeable player options, the system is both scalable and flexible, allowing for wireless and wired configurations, and even including a hardwired professional series player option which powers three zones from one single rack-mountable unit. The system also includes built-in source variety through streaming Internet Radio and networked content, on top of input access for analog and USB devices.
