NuVo Technologies has begun shipping its Music Port Elite (MPS4-E), which like its sister product the Music Port (MPS4), consolidates, organizes, stores, and distributes Internet and PC-based audio content from Windows Media Player and iTunes, while also accessing streaming audio from a variety of Internet services, all in one compact component that offers four simultaneous audio outputs.

The Elite offers a cloud synchronization function, allowing a user’s library of audio content to be readily available from multiple locations.

Content also can now be streamed directly from network-attached storage, creating infinite capacity.

In addition, a new scheduling tool enables a user to play selected music at a pre-arranged day/time.

Finally, the new server offers an IP control protocol that enables pre-built Crestron, AMX, and URC control integration.

The Music Port Elite is compatible with NuVo’s Grand Concerto, Renovia and Essentia E6G systems, as well as with third-party systems. It is priced at $3,499 MSRP.
