Olibra Looks to Expand Awareness of its Bond Bridge IoT Platform

Appoints Muto Communications as PR agency to promote platform, which brings app-based control to RF remote-controlled ceiling fans, motorized shades, fireplaces.

Technology company Olibra has selected Muto Communications as its public relations agency-of-record to expand appreciation for its Bond IoT Platform of Home Control solutions. The Bond Bridge and Bond Home smartphone/tablet apps bring Wi-Fi control to RF remote-controlled ceiling fans, motorized shades and fireplaces.

Brought to the DIY market in 2018, the Bond Bridge ($99 retail price) gives the user the ability to reproduce the fan’s recorded RF remote-control signals: turn fan on/off, adjust fan speed, turn fan light on/off, etc. with no wiring or installation. Bond Bridge can cover a 2500-square-foot home and control up to 30 connected devices from anywhere in the world. The Bond Bridge is also compatible with Google Assistant, Amazon Alexa, and SmartThings voice activation Apps.

Introduced in 2021, with both the DIY and home technology professional in mind, the step-up Bond Bridge Pro ($379 retail price) brings even more enhanced functionality. Bond Bridge Pro adds the benefit of PoE (Power Over Ethernet) and while requiring no wiring or installation, integrates easily with leading home control/automation systems being Control4, Crestron, ELAN, RTI, Homebridge, and Hubitat. Bond Bridge Pro offers an expanded home coverage range of 3500 square feet and is compatible with every brand of RF-controlled ceiling fan, plus many shades and fireplaces.

“Cost-efficient, easy-to-use app-based wireless control is paramount for a comfortable lifestyle today and our research shows us that convenience and voice control are the two leading reasons for users to add smart ceiling fans to their home,” says Olibra founder and CEO, Zohar Shinar. “To this, Bond Bridge is becoming adopted by more-and-more manufacturers and resellers. In fact, all the major ceiling fan brands worldwide are using our Smart by Bond platform for connectivity. 2022 will be another year of significant growth for us and we look forward to sharing the many exciting company developments through Muto Communications.”

“We too are thrilled about the opportunity that the Bond Platform brings to manufacturer partners, home technology professionals, and consumers,” says Richard Frank, marketing/PR consultant and Muto Communications Olibra/Bond Bridge account director. “To get started we’d like to point readers to this informative annual survey depicting end-user’s preferences and needs in Smart ceiling fans: https://bit.ly/3rTvTgT.”
