OmniMount has promoted its chief designer Zach Eyman to general manager of furniture and business development.

Eyman has been with OmniMount since 2002, starting out on the product design team after graduating from Arizona State University with degrees in industrial design and marketing.

As the company has grown, Eyman has been an integral part of product design and development for a variety of flat panel mounts, rack systems, speaker stands and audio/video furniture. This promotion allows him to now focus on managing the company’s new furniture initiatives, in addition to continuing to oversee the design of rack systems and mounting accessories.

“OmniMount has always led the industry with innovative designs across all categories–that’s a standard to which we’ve always held ourselves,” Eyman stated. “I’m thrilled to be honing in on the category I have the most personal passion for — furniture. I’m in tune with the market and our customers and look forward to growing this category for OmniMount.”

The furniture category has grown significantly for OmniMount over the last several years. Traditionally offering steel and glass audio/video tables and simple flat panel floor stands, the company now manufactures a broad selection of home theater furniture. Seven collections offer a variety of designs for nearly every application, from aggressively priced, ready-to-assemble pieces to fully assembled high-end wood consoles.

“Zach has been a constant within the OmniMount design team for more than eight years now, and has already used his experience to help develop our furniture business,” said Brett Stenhouse, the vice president of sourcing and new business development for OmniMount. “Zach’s new position will allow him to continue growing our furniture business and take it to a new level, while also focusing on new business development.”
