Qsonix Develops Entry-Level Server

Westlake Village, CA — In response to customers and dealers looking for a simpler and more affordable music server without the features of multi-room/zone and automation capabilities, Qsonix developed its new entry-level Q105 music management system that will be marketed direct by Qsonix on the web.

The new web business strategy, which Qsonix created for the Q105, enables a price point affordable to more music lovers/collectors and audiophiles. This approach connects with a larger audience of enthusiasts who prefer to research and shop online and do not require the custom integration services provided by AV contractors. Customers will have the option to buy from Qsonix direct or continue to purchase through their favorite authorized Qsonix dealer at same affordable price.

“Regardless of where our products are purchased, Qsonix will ship directly to the consumer from our manufacturing facilities in Southern California,” said Qsonix co-founder and president, Mike Weaver. “Authorized Qsonix resellers are asked to have a demonstration model on hand and provide skilled technical QCT ‘Qsonix Certified Training’ support, but are not required to have back-up stock.”

The Q105 is a containing many features found in the company’s top-of-the-line Q110 system, including automatic CD loading, CD burning, iPod loading, iPhone remote control interface, and playlist recommendations. The new Q105 system comes standard with 500GB storage and 15-inch touchscreen controller at the very affordable price of $4,500 (U.S.) and has upgrade options for storage up to 1.5TB as well as both 15- and 17-inch touchscreen controllers.

Unlike the Q110 series product that typically involves custom tailored setup and integration by technicians with home automation and control systems, the new Q105 is designed and packaged for easy out-of-the-box set up so owners are up and running with their favorite music in minutes. New dealers wishing to participate can contact Qsonix by calling 800-4Qsonix.
