Rainbow Fish Fiber Optic, Inc. has appointed NetOpt of Brisbane to distribute its line of Fiber Optic HDMI cables to the professional, residential and consumer electronics trades in Australia, New Zealand and Fiji.
NetOpt will distribute Rainbow Fish Fiber Optic HDMI cables in Australia, New Zealand and Fiji.

Rainbow Fish cables convert the HDMI input signal to optical signal at the source and pass the signal through fiber optics to the display device where the connector converts the optical signal back to HDMI for easy connection to an HDMI input. Power is supplied internally with Rainbow Fish. The source (send) connector draws the required power from the HDMI output while the display (receive) connector includes a USB connector for power to be drawn from an available USB port on the display. The USB power may be extended via a 5V USB to AC adapter should no USB port be accessible.
