SEAL Solutions, a New York metro area custom installation company, today announced the grand opening of its new home theater and audio/video showroom, which will take place on Thursday, April 8, 2010 from 5:00 – 9:00 pm.

SEAL Solutions, located at 3180 Expressway Drive South, Suite D, Islandia, New York, was founded by former Navy SEAL Chris Wyllie. SEAL offers complete custom installation services including architectural design, construction, systems integration and more to the New York metro area.

The grand opening will feature an exclusive sneak preview of the new TK Living line of architectural detailing products, acoustical fabrics, seating, lighting and other accessories created by Theo Kalomirakis, the leading authority in home theater design. TK Living will also show examples for three distinct theater designs utilizing TK Living products for the cost-effective construction, design and engineering of custom home theaters. The first-ever showroom theater to feature TK Living products was designed by Kalomirakis for SEAL Solutions.

Lutron is sponsoring the event. Representatives from audio/video companies Crestron, Runco, Stewart Filmscreen, and Paradigm will also be on hand.

Wyllie has had a life-long passion for electronics. He graduated from the U.S. Navy’s Advanced Electronics School and has a CEDIA Level One Installer certification.

“I wanted to instill our business with the pride and professionalism I learned in the Navy,” he said. “In today’s challenging economic times, a business has to provide customers with the highest levels of quality, service and value. Our affiliation with Theo Kalomirakis and with top-level manufacturers, and the opening of our new showroom reflect SEAL’s commitment.”

Theo Kalomirakis noted that his TK Living lineup embodies 20 years of experience in designing and creating custom home theaters. “TK Living will make it easier and more cost effective for installers and contractors to build home theaters for their clients that are uniquely elegant, beautiful and inviting,” he said.

Available in a wide range of styles, colors and textures, TK Living products will include acoustically transparent fabrics, lighting fixtures, carpets, decorative speaker grilles, and seating. The architectural plans provided by TK Living for the showroom can encompass the three unique theater designs that can fit into a client’s home.
