Amherst, NY — Stampede, distributor of presentation and home theater technology, has begun consolidation of its corporate headquarters and its main distribution center in a facility in Amherst, New York.
The location was selected for its proximity to the Buffalo/Niagra International Airport and the company’s Canadian headquarters in Mississauga, Ontario, and is expected to have minimal impact on the commuting times of the Buffalo-area employees.
“We have been looking for the right opportunity to put our headquarters and distribution center under one roof,” president and COO Kevin Kelly said.
The move to the new facility begins this week with the distribution center expected to be fully operational by July 27, 2009. Completion of the new office space and the move of corporate headquarters are expected to be complete by late September.
