With the SurgeX XC series, integrators can now offer their clients power protection that mounts on the back of a rack and does not take up valuable space.

The XC series of surge eliminators keeps power distribution organized at the back of the rack and provides easy access to power cable configuration. The main module can mount anywhere and is available with either 18 or 24 outlets. Both units feature SurgeX patented Advanced Series Mode protection technology, a remote interface, Over/Under Voltage Protection LED, Power On/Off LED and Self Test LED. Both units are 15 Amp/120 Volt configurations.

“The goal of the XC series is to provide our integrators with a no-compromise power protection unit that doesn’t cost them valuable rack space,” said Shannon Townley, senior vice president of SurgeX. “Integrators shouldn’t have to make a choice between putting in a power protection unit or not because of space constraints. With the XC series, we can provide our award-winning protection with a revolutionary design that enables more rack space for other equipment without having to sacrifice protection.”

As with all SurgeX products, the Space Savers come with the patented SurgeX Advanced Series Mode surge elimination technology, which is completely non-sacrificial and eliminates all surge energy without producing harmful side effects such as ground contamination or common-mode disturbances. Comprehensive protection technology also includes common mode and normal mode Impedance Tolerant EMI/RFI filtering, SurgeX ICE (Inrush Current Elimination), and COUVS (Catastrophic Over/Under Voltage Shutdown).

The SurgeX XC series are built to withstand a 6,000V, 3,000AMP AC power surge at least 1,000 times without failing.
