Stafford, TX–Long-time Crutchfield merchant, David Weisman, will be leaving to assume the position of executive director of The Advantage Group (TAG), effective March 1. Weisman, who has been with Crutchfield since 1994, served in various capacities over the years–most recently as head of business development and member of the operating committee.
TAG is a national association of rep/distributors founded in 2001. The members supply residential electronic systems contractors and integrators with whole-house and distributed A/V products along with related accessories, training, and tech support.
We are thrilled by the prospect of having someone with Daves experience and standing leading the group. said Rabitt Blake of NAM Electronics, current president of TAG. He will help us develop a focused approach to growing our business with key vendors while seeking additional ways of supporting our clientele.
