Kitchener, ONTARIO–Tannoy has released its plan for a company restructure designed to position Tannoy’s North American (TNA) operations to be more customer-focused and take advantage of synergies within Tannoy’s operations worldwide.
According to Anders Fauerskov, CEO of TC Group, “The primary objective of this change is to re-establish direct communication and coordination between Tannoy North America and Tannoy’s headquarters in Scotland. By solidifying the companies’ efforts, we are better able to take advantage of shared expertise and resources.”
As part of this change, long time TNA COO, Bill Calma, has agreed to step down. Fauerskov lauded Calma for his more than 23 years of distinguished service at Tannoy, citing specifically Calma’s leadership and unwavering spirit.
Fauerskov further stated, “While all indications are that the economy is rebounding, TC Group’s continued success will largely depend on the organization’s ability to reduce overall spending by eliminating redundancies, maintain a high level of flexibility, focus on our speed of response to customers’ needs and apply all available resources to developing our core products.”
