Thiel Audio is set to open a music and entertainment venue in Nashville, Tennessee.
The venue—named Aurora—is thoroughly outfitted with Thiel technology, and is designed to deliver luxury lossless audio and 4K entertainment to consumers. Part of the idea behind Aurora is to offer record labels in the city a new avenue to market and sell their intellectual property in the post-CD age.
“We have created this beautifully appointed space so that our guests might Live Inside the Music – the true essence of the Thiel experience,” said Rebecca Abarahams, audio chief brand officer for Thiel. “This immersive, fully interactive space combines 40 years of dedication to acoustic excellence while reaching out to a new generation of luxury brand consumers, looking for next generation high performance audio products.”
Aurora is scheduled to open its doors in March 2016.
