URC will conduct 12 free training classes during CEDIA EXPO 2011, beginning September 7. The classes cover a variety of topics, including URC’s whole-house control system, Total Control, as well as networking, commercial integration, programming, installation, and control applications. In addition, its popular annual class, “Tips & Tricks with Hank Eisengrein,” will be conducted Friday, September 9, from 4:00 until 5:30 p.m.
“We’re giving away over $120,000 in merchandise, discounts, and other door prizes,” said Jon Sienkiewicz, director of marketing at URC. “On Thursday, September 8, we invite all of our customers to stop by our training room (107/108) to spin the URC Wheel of Fortune for a chance to win Total Control and other URC products.”
CI professionals who attend any Total Control session will receive a URC Accelerator Programming Reference Manual and a Total Control Installation Manual & Setup Guide. Combined, the two books contain 350 pages full of diagrams, illustrations, special techniques, and information that will help installers program Total Control whole-house control systems. Available printed softbound and on CD, these reference manuals have a $200 value.
