Vantage is offering a proprietary app that allows end-users to custom design and share a keypad on their iPad or Android device.
The Vantage Keypad Designer allows consumers to select style, color, and other faceplate options.
The Vantage Keypad Designer allows consumers to select the style, color, and other faceplate options that best match their décor. The design can then be shared via email as an Adobe Acrobat file or simply saved to the device. Either way, the consumer will be able to share their style and color preferences with their dealer or installer.
“As far as the end-user is concerned, the keypad is the face of a home’s control system,” said Andrew Wale, vice president of marketing for Vantage. “This app gives dealers and homeowners the ability to experiment with custom keypad styles to determine the ideal look and feel for each room.”
“Considering that every home boasts a unique interior, we feel it is essential to give our end-users the final say over the specific design elements — from color to the position and style of the buttons — as well as the ability to complete their design within the framework of an intuitive application.”
The Vantage Keypad Designer App is available as a free download from the Apple App Store and the Android Market.
