Wilson Releases DT4G 4G Consumer Cellular Signal Booster

Wilson Electronics' new DT4G, a 4G booster designed to work with all phones and all carriers, is now available.

Wilson Electronics’ new DT4G, a 4G booster designed to work with all phones and all carriers, is now available.

The DT4 has been certified by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) to meet the latest technical standards for cellular boosters. According to the company, the DT4G improves voice and data signal strength indoors on 4G, 3G, and 2G networks in the U.S. (except Clearwire), and accommodates multiple users across multiple carriers simultaneously.

“The DT4G is truly a versatile cellular signal booster for consumers,” said Chris Rutherford, vice president of sales and marketing for Wilson Electronics. “It’s Wilson¹s most affordable 4G indoor booster, and helps fill in the gaps in your signal coverage often caused by geography and by building materials in your home or office.”

The DT4G is designed to provide enhanced multi-room signal coverage in apartments, homes and offices. Benefits include fewer dropped connections, fewer no-service ‘dead zones,’ faster data rates especially on 4G devices, and improved cellular battery life.

Delivering a maximum gain of 60 decibels (dB), the DT4G booster comes with two antennas, one that communicates with the cell tower, and another that communicates with the cellular device. Also included are two lengths of low-loss coaxial cable to connect the components. An illustrated step-by-step set-up guide is included, and Wilson provides free tech support online and by phone from its Utah-based headquarters.

Like all Wilson signal boosters, this new model features SmarTech III cell site protection techniques developed and refined by Wilson Electronics over more than a decade of research and development which
prevent any potential interference with the cellular network. The DT4G’s control features allow users to easily optimize the gain on each frequency band for the actual location where the booster is installed.
