Carson City, NV–Wisdom Audio has tapped industry veteran Ed Jaeger as the companys CEO and CFO. In this position, Jaeger will be responsible for creating, implementing, and managing corporate procedures as well as assuming a leading role in determining Wisdoms overall direction as the company continues to grow.
I was very fortunate to work with Ed many years ago at Bohlender Graebner (BG Corporation), and it is an honor to work with him again, said Tom Bohlender, founder of Wisdom Audio. He has been ideally prepared to be our CEO bringing with him more than a decades worth of experience operating BG. He knows virtually our entire team and believes in the goals we have set forward at Wisdom Audio. His successful history growing a small company into a recognized industry leader will be invaluable to Wisdom.
Jaeger, who has a business degree in accounting and finance from the University of California, Berkeley, has spent the past 12 years with BG as the companys CFO, and also spending a period of time as the companys president. While at BG, Jaeger helped grow the company during his tenure, including negotiating OEM agreements with leading audio companies as well as working closely with the companys sales and marketing departments.
Ive known Tom [Bohlender] and Wisdoms David Graebner and Dave Michno for a long time, and I have respected and enjoyed Wisdoms products over the years, explained Jaeger. The current Wisdom team is terrific with a wealth of talent in each of their specific areas of expertise, and they are focused on creating uniquely designed high performance sound systems. The planar magnetic drivers and speaker designs currently being devised by Wisdom are very advanced and unlike anything I have ever been involved with. The companys new technologies make for a very exciting future and I am proud to be a part of it.
