Wisdom Audio Promotes Graebener to EVP

Formerly a senior technical advisor for the company, David Graebener will oversee transducer development, intellectual property, and system design.

Carson City, NV–Wisdom Audio has promoted David Graebener to executive vice president. In his new duties, Graebener will be responsible for transducer development, management of company intellectual property, and system design.

“Since David joined the company, it quickly became apparent that we needed to utilize his vast technical resources and wealth of industry experience in an even greater capacity,” said Wisdom founder and CEO Tom Bohlender. “Our new products, as well as the growth of the company as a whole, are now at the stages where David is a vital link to bring everything to the next level. We are deeply engaged in both conventional and planar magnetic transducer development of our own manufacture and as an industry expert in these areas, David will be an invaluable member of our team.”

Graebener joined Wisdom in July as senior technical advisor and as a member of the company’s advisory board. Graebener co-founded Bohlender-Graebener (BG Corp.) with Bohlender in the early 1990s where he held the title of vice president, research & development.

“In my short time at Wisdom working with Tom [Bohlender] and the engineering team, I have seen and been part of some dramatic technological advancements in transducers for high quality audio reproduction systems and I quickly became excited to jump in with both feet,” said Graebener. “Wisdom’s new initiatives are unlike any others in the industry, and uniquely address packaging and performance challenges facing a number of audio applications today. Upon fruition in 2007 we will be launching some very unique and exciting systems that will satisfy even the most technologically savvy and discerning audiophiles.”
