It is a replacement option for any traditional 4-, 5-, or 6-inch incandescent/halogen light fixture.
Also available is the new construction frame for the Astro Basics 4-inch Downlight, which makes the 4-inch retrofit a budget-friendly new construction downlight. By stocking the 4-inch Astro Basics, it serves as both a retrofit and a new build option, covering most applications right off the shelf.
By mimicking the dimming appearance of an incandescent lamp, these recessed luminaires can shift color temperatures and create a visually comfortable and innately familiar experience, while benefiting from the energy savings and long life of LEDs. The fixtures are designed to create a clean, minimalist, and quiet ceiling while projecting powerful illumination. Intuitive phase dimming or the DMX-to-ELV dimming module can be used for digital control.
