Focal has introduced the Diva Alta Utopia wireless, connected hi-fi speaker, which is powered by seven speaker drivers and, according to the company, delivers a wide-ranging soundstage that is precise, natural, and enveloping.
With no installation constraints and no cables, it embodies a contemporary vision of high-fidelity; an all-in-one speaker that is amplified, connected, and intuitive. It reveals its full power in spaces from 538 to 1292 square feet, whether for music or film.
Designed and manufactured in France, it is steeped in technologies devoted entirely to sound — a new-generation tweeter, natural midrange, and enhanced bass.
With the Diva Alta Utopia, Focal unveils a new generation of PRISM tweeter, a technology that combines a multi-material substrate with an advanced micro-structuring process. It makes the most of each material and achieves greater rigidity than beryllium, while maintaining a balance between lightness, damping, and rigidity. The result of a major research program, patented and manufactured in France, PRISM sculpts membranes with precision.
Used in its Utopia M monitors, the M-profile W midrange makes its debut in the Diva Utopia range, providing first-rate midrange precision and transparency. Carbon reinforcement has been added for even greater performance.
Its interchangeable, floating side panels, a hallmark of its singular character, allow the speaker’s appearance to be transformed at will, between felt and high-gloss lacquer finishes, without altering the speaker itself. Every detail, from the premium materials to the iconic Utopia design signatures — among them the “watch” formed by the tweeter and its anodized aluminum surround — reflects an attention to aesthetic detail.
The Diva Alta Utopia will be available in five finishes from August 2026, exclusively through the Focal Powered by Naim network of authorized retailers for $210,000 USD and $260,000 CAD.
The five finishes include Grey and Ivory Felt and three lacquered and varnished finishes, including Black High Gloss, Off-White High Gloss, and Dune High Gloss, all hand-crafted in the Focal Ebénisterie Bourgogne workshop.
