Now officially affiliated, Channel Vision and iRule are collaborating to deliver a complete AV control experience. iRule is an app that works with AV dealers, enterprise clients, and DIY consumers to deliver convenient control and a user-friendly automation platform for products that support IR, serial RS-232, and IP control.

Channel Vision’s 4 source, 6 zone amplified AV controller (A4623) syncs to the iRule application to allow remote control from a personalized display screen. The app’s graphics, buttons, and device commands can be customized and saved to a cloud-based server. Named CES 2014 Control Product of the Year, the iRule app runs on iOS and Android devices and controls audio/video, lights, shades and more.

“iRule offers our customers an economical alternative to high-end automation platforms such as Crestron and Control4 without sacrificing functionality,” said Darrel Hauk president of Channel Vision. “The app features an attractive layout that allows users to customize command buttons and graphics to fit their lifestyles. We are eager to see how iRule will heighten user experience for Channel Vision audio systems.”

To get started, users will complete a straightforward, three-step process to build, customize and enable remote control of all household devices using their Smartphone or tablet. Users can design remote settings as well as edit device controls at any time for just $50.
