Just Add Power Announces Plans for CEDIA Expo 2021

Just Add Power will present the 2GΩ/3G ST1 sound transceiver, preview a forthcoming 4K60 transmitter and receiver, and raffle guitars at the event.

Just Add Power has announced its technology lineup for CEDIA Expo 2021, Sept. 1-3 at the Indiana Convention Center in Indianapolis. At Booth #2504, the company will present its 2GΩ/3G ST1 sound transceiver along with a preview of the new MaxColor 4K60 Series, which provides an affordable and scalable 4K UHD distribution platform to natively support today’s 4K source content over existing network infrastructures. Attendees will also have an opportunity to win one of three ESP LTD EC-256 electric guitars.

Just Add Power ST1

During the show, Just Add Power will present the 2GΩ/3G ST1 sound transceiver, an audio-only component that functions as either an input or output. With the ST1, integrators can add a stereo audio source to any Just Add Power system or extract stereo audio from an existing transmitter. As an audio input, the ST1 feeds stereo audio into a Just Add Power system. Any audio source with an analog audio out — a TV, Sonos Amp, CD player, microphone, and more — can be connected and played on any receiver. As an audio output, the transceiver can play any stereo audio content from any Just Add Power device while providing variable audio control. This allows for unique functionality, such as sending analog audio from a display to the main rack without having to run an extra network cable.

As a result of this innovation, integrators can easily build a stereo audio distribution matrix with unlimited inputs and outputs that runs over network wiring. Further, by combining the transceiver with Just Add Power transmitters and receivers in the same installation, installers now can mix audio and video in new and unique ways. For example, they can provide their clients with the ability to watch sporting events while listening to radio commentary, give a presentation by mixing PC video with microphone audio, or even add an audio return channel.

Also at the show, Just Add Power will unveil its new MaxColor 4K60 transmitter and receiver series, set to ship in the first quarter of 2022. MaxColor natively supports 4K60 in and out, allowing end users to play 4K Ultra HD video from the growing number of 4K sources and devices. With MaxColor, 4K 12-bit video can be distributed over existing Cat5/Cat6 cable. The series works with existing Just Add Power drivers and supported control systems. In addition, it supports MPEG downstreaming for connected devices, such as a laptop or a mobile device. The series features instant seamless switching, 4K up- and downscaling, all audio formats, seamless HDR management, and Dolby Vision.

Each day at 3:00 PM during CEDIA 2021, Just Add Power will give away one of three ESP LTD EC-256 electric guitars, part of the company’s mission to support Guitars for Vets (G4V), a nonprofit dedicated to providing relief to struggling veterans the healing power of music and community. At the show, attendees must visit the Just Add Power booth to enter and be present during the daily drawing to be eligible to win. Besides drawing attention to G4V through the giveaway, Just Add Power is also donating 10 Epiphone acoustic guitars to the program.
