Control4 has added a new Square Dual Load Wireless Dimmer and Square Dual Load Wireless Switch to expand its smart lighting line, enabling dealers to leverage the zigbee wireless lighting solution for existing and new construction.
According to a recent smart home study from Berg Insight, the most popular features of an installed whole-home automation system are lighting and window control, both of which can be found in 75 percent of Europe’s installed whole-home systems. Opening up that market opportunity for dealers to expand installations in China and Europe, Control4’s new Dual Load Wireless Dimmer and Dual Load Wireless Switch offer intelligent lighting automation in a compact square form-factor for both new construction homes or retrofit installs.

Control4 Square Dual Load Wireless Lighting is designed for split-load applications to independently control two lighting loads at a single location. The new Square Dual Load Wireless Dimmer and Switch also function as a keypad and incorporate backlit engraving and status LEDs for two-way feedback, and color options for faceplates and keypads. Keypads offer flexible configurations and control for any connected device or smart home scene in a system such as music, video, shades, locks, and thermostats. Dual Load Wireless Lighting provides an intuitive interface to control a variety of lighting products including LED, incandescent, halogen, low-voltage lighting, as well as motorized devices such as ceiling fans and bathroom ventilations fans.
