At CEDIA 2018, Denon and Marantz announced the industry’s first IMAX Enhanced audio products — Denon AVR-X8500H and Marantz AV8805 — in conjunction with the IMAX Enhanced format launch. Both brands are expanding the IMAX Enhanced functionality to the following products via firmware update:
- Denon AVR-X6500H
- Denon AVR-X4500H
- Marantz SR8012
- Marantz SR7013
- Marantz SR6013
- Marantz AV7705
The firmware update is now available, being pushed out to the receivers beginning February 6, 2019.
Customers should have their compatible receivers powered on and connected to the internet to receive the IMAX Enhanced update.
