Elytone will unveil the Networked Audio Processor 2 (NAP2) at CEDIA Expo 2025, booth #739. Designed for endpoint applications in AES67 audio-over-IP networks, NAP2 delivers high-quality networked audio performance in a smaller, more cost-efficient package, making possible a wider range of AoIP products for companies in pro audio, custom installation, and enterprise AV.
NAP2 builds on Elytone’s expertise in networked audio solutions as a complete audio module in a compact form factor, with comprehensive processing, on-board memory, integrated AES67, and supporting a wide range of both digital and analog inputs and outputs. The flexible I/O capabilities are expanded beyond NAP1 in this area with more connectivity options for easier implementation of endpoint applications. Integrated AES67 provides an efficient networked audio solution developed by Elytone. From active speakers to distributed microphone arrays, NAP2 simplifies deployment while maintaining speed, flexibility, and interoperability.
Key Features
- A compact, lower-cost module targeted at networked endpoint applications
- Connects IP audio and control through one Ethernet cable
- Native AES67 support for high-quality, small channel count audio products
- Supports analog, I2S, TDM, and PDM interfaces
- Cost and size allow NAP2 to be scalable for multi-endpoint systems

“NAP2 is designed to complement NAP1 in both performance and cost, with a focus on endpoint applications that are typically less demanding and have a lower channel count,” says Albert Yong, vice president of audio/OEM at Elytone. “By narrowing the application scope, we were able to optimize audio interfaces, processors, and memory to achieve a smaller, more cost-effective module. This opens up many new end-product possibilities for our customers.”
Elytone will be demonstrating all these advances at CEDIA Expo 2025. Visitors to booth #739 will see live demonstrations of NAP2 enabling PoE-installed speakers over an AES67 network developed by Elytone. Elytone will have additional digital audio installation demonstrations, and the company’s Peak Amplification division will have new announcements and demonstrations as well.
