Hunter Douglas engineered its Solar Charger to deliver dependable performance even in suboptimal lighting conditions. The charger works well even in low-light, north-facing windows — meaning most rechargeable PowerView shades connected to a Solar Charger will not require manual recharging. This product offers significant convenience for users, especially those with multiple rechargeable shades, installations in second homes, or hard-to-reach windows.
The Solar Charger Kit is compatible with PowerView Automation rechargeable battery wands and is available with an adapter for compatibility with internal rechargeable battery shades. It is easy to integrate and offers multiple out-of-the-box mounting options. These include direct-to-glass mounts for optimal solar harvesting, snap-on brackets for easy installation, and window jamb mounts with easy removal. The charger is available in black or white interior-facing colors to complement its surrounding aesthetics.
