This switch also introduces the new NVR Series Switches product family for the networking and surveillance brand. TRENDnet’s 18-Port Gigabit NVR switch is designed for use with a 16-channel standard NVR, such as TRENDnet’s 16-Channel HD NVR, model TV-NVR2216. The new unmanaged 18-port switch enables users to connect all 16 IP camera to the switch, while still providing two additional shared uplink ports for dedicated connections to a NVR or network. The front-panel LED displays total power used, available power, and power per port. The high-power switch features a 220-watt PoE power budget, which is enough power to supply most surveillance applications. TRENDnet’s NVR switches can also be used as standard high-power switches. The NVR Series Switches are designed to easily integrate into existing IP surveillance solutions and NVR setups. The new 18-Port NVR switch is available today through authorized distributors and partners worldwide. At the beginning of next year, TRENDnet plans to expand the NVR Series Switches product line with a 12-port NVR switch with SFP support, designed for use with an 8-channel standard NVR. TRENDnet will showcase its latest networking and surveillance solutions at ISC East 2016, November 16–17 in New York, at booth 341.
