Clare Controls has appointed Jason Simms to the position of territory manager.
In his role as territory manager, Simms will build and support the Clare Controls dealer network in Western Canada, including Alberta, Manitoba, Saskatchewan and British Colombia, plus Yukon and the northwest territories.
Simms is widely known for his experience in home automation, lighting control and communications technology. He’s previously held sales management positions with smartSPACE Technologies and Holmes Theater and Automation, both of Calgary, AB, and as an inside sales specialist for Sony of Canada.
“Jason is a recognized expert in the industry, and well-respected in one of our fastest-growing territories,” said Michael Shaw, Clare vice president of channel sales. “His expertise and professionalism reflect our commitment to the market, and to the dealers in Canada.”
