Salamander Designs, Ltd. has expanded its Chameleon Collection line of corner-style and extra-wide cabinets engineered to accommodate sophisticated AV components and support today’s larger TVs.

Salamander’s new products are in direct response to market feedback from their dealer network.
New Corner-style Cabinets: three new Chameleon Collection corner-style cabinet configurations (available in 9-different cabinet styles) include a 20-inch high version, a 30-inch high version and a 30-inch high version with grillwork to accommodate a center channel speaker. These new models add attractive options to the many configurations currently available from Salamander.
“No longer are users limited to ill-designed cabinets for smaller spaces,” said Salamander president, Sal Carrabba. “Our corner-style cabinets will support a flat panel TV on top while integrating the AV electronics neatly inside. We feel confident that the Salamander brand comprehensively addresses the needs of dealers and custom integrators with the addition of these new products.”
New Quad-style cabinets: Salamander’s 4-door units, called Quads, are designed to accommodate today’s large flat panel TVs, both visually and structurally. New product offerings in this category include contemporary and transitional styles.
“More consumers are buying larger flat panel TVs, so expanding the Quad line was simply a natural response to that market trend,” Carrabba said. The newest extra-wide Quads are also capable of housing a center channel loudspeaker.
Salamander AV cabinets are available in a large array of styles, materials and configurations. All Salamander cabinets are engineered to provide for proper acoustics, vibration reduction, ventilation, remote-friendly doors and access for cable management, according to the company.
