RTI Adds Australia, New Zealand Distrib

Remote Technologies Inc. (RTI) has partnered with RTi Systems to establish a new distribution channel for the company’s control products in Australia and New Zealand.

Under the agreement, RTi Systems will distribute and provide technical support for RTI’s entire line of award-winning handheld and in-wall control panels, central processors, and related accessories throughout the region.

“We are very excited to have partnered with RTi Systems to provide professional ‘best in class’ support for our control solutions in Australia and New Zealand,” RTI international sales manager Kris Haggstrom said.

In support of the new distribution channel, RTi Systems’ Brisbane headquarters will be operational as of March 15, and will be equipped to honor all existing and new warranties and service requirements for all RTI products. Additional sales offices are planned for Sydney and Melbourne, with further staff to be established in Perth and New Zealand to provide RTI dealers with a direct contact in each of their territories.

RTi Systems’ Australia/New Zealand operations will be headed by managing director Mark Hamilton, while Richard Pece will lead RTi’s technical/training team. Both have spent several years in the custom installation and distribution industry and have extensive experience with RTI products.
