Santa Barbara, CA–Sonos Inc. has announced that consumer electronics veteran Phil Abram has been appointed president and chief operating officer. In the newly created position, Abram will oversee the companys growing digital music system business from Sonos Santa Barbara, CA headquarters.
Abram joins Sonos from Sony Electronics Inc., where he spent more than eleven years in a variety of strategic management roles. Most recently, he served as vice president and senior general manager in the television products division at Sony. Before joining Sony, Abram held executive positions at Sharp Electronics Corporation and Eastman Kodak Company.
