Doug Henderson is charged with direct and independent sales forces, while John McIntosh will work closely with the companys dealer partners.

The B&W Group North America, marketer of Bowers & Wilkins, Class Audio and Rotel Electronics, has appointed Doug Henderson as vice president of sales and marketing for all brands, and John McIntosh to the position of vice president of business development.

A principle of New York-based rep firm Audtek for more than 20 years, Henderson was primarily responsible for building the firm into one of the largest and most respected in the industry. D&W said his depth of experience and knowledge in all aspects of the specialty audio/video and custom installation business will be invaluable in his new position.

Henderson will assume full responsibility for the direct and independent sales forces and all aspects of sales and marketing in North America with the primary objective of building the market share of each of the brands within the companys strong network of independent specialists.

Henderson will also work closely with executive VPs Chris Browder, Mike Bartlett and Dave Nauber who are responsible for the B&W, Rotel and Class brands, respectively, to ensure that product development strategies continue to meet the needs of our dealers and end users.

John McIntosh, in his new position as vice president of business development, will devote his full attention to working closely with the companys largest dealer partners to develop strategies and programs to optimize their audio business and increase the revenue and margin contribution from this all important category.

McIntosh has been with the company since 1984 and previously was director of sales for all B&W Group brands where he was instrumental in their exceptional growth and development.
