Intuitive Design has unveiled its first product, the ID-IWB-1 flat screen mount.
“My last company, which focused on custom automation, was constantly in need of a solution to countersink equipment behind the flat panels we were installing, such as room processors, video baluns, power plugs and even the wires,” said Cary Christie II, president of Intuitive Design. “There are many wall boxes and outlet boxes on the market, but none of them focus on the solution for this area of custom installation. Being from a manufacturing background, I decided to make a solution for the custom installer: our first product, the ID-IWB-1.”
According to Intuitive Design, the ID-IWB-1 offers a versatile mounting ability and integrated punch-out system. You can easily hide components and power protection inside the wall, organized and protected. The box is made from powder coated steel.
“This is our first product solution but by no means our last,” said Christie. “We have a number of products coming which will solve problems and provide a better, easier installation, saving time and therefore money.”
