Lance Anderson started out at Best Buy in 1997, but entered the custom integration business as a “hobby gone wild.” His firm, Admit One Home Cinema, focuses on home theater and design and home technology installation. He has been a JBL dealer for four years.
How do you rate the Synthesis One?
9.5. The JBL Synthesis One system as a whole is fantastic! The SAM1/2 Speaker Modules make for an extremely flexible install. The new ARCOS calibration software always you to We can’t wait for the new processors to start shipping. This will really top off an already awesome system.
For what types of installations is it best suited?
Dedicated Home theaters. It’s a very scalable product that encompasses a large range of rooms sizes and shapes.
What is one feature of the Synthesis One that stands out in your projects?
Definitely the in room calibration using the SDECs and the ACROS software. Allowing us to produce rooms that match or exceed SMPTE and THX standards
What features would you like to see changed or added?
Waiting for an update to there existing processors to include all the new video standards. We also can’t wait to see the new Quantum Logic in action!
