Quest Acoustical Interiors have introduced their new Acoustical Room Treatment Configurator Tool.
The new QuestAI Configurator is designed to quickly and easily present the importance and value of addressing theater room acoustics with a total design approach and a properly engineered solution in order to effectively resolve the problems that the room itself can create.
Though the Configurator is not intended to provide an exact quote for a specifically engineered room treatment solution, but will help qualify the customer’s performance requirements while establishing the budget for acoustics, and help further position the QuestAI dealer as an expert and a professional systems designer.
Bill Johnson, QuestAI’s director of sales pointed out that when it comes to acoustics, most customers and even many AV dealers believe that simply putting up absorptive panels qualifies as a complete acoustic treatment solution. Johnson says that this is only a part of what is needed to address the complex acoustical challenges the room frequently introduces.
“Only a properly engineered solution based on a comprehensive acoustical treatment strategy can produce true high performance results,” Johnson said. “Absorptive panels are merely one component whose ultimate benefit can only be fully realized when used as a part of a complete acoustic treatment system solution.”
