SIM2 is celebrating the company’s 15th anniversary in 2011, and plans to unveil a number of products at the 2011 CEDIA EXPO — for a total of 15 new models this year, representing each of the 15 years of doing business.
SIM2 is releasing its first single-chip DLP 3D projection.
Among the new product highlights will be SIM2’s first entry in single-chip DLP 3D projection. SIM2 has taken the optics and electronics from its 3-Chip LUMIS 3D SOLO line to create a benchmark single-chip DLP projection line with technologies including native 2.35:1 and DynamicBlack, housed in a compact, light-absorbing “nero black” chassis.
