Tripp Lite will be participating in the CEDIA EXPO 2010 education program with a course focused on the techniques and benefits of power management with IP-addressable power strips and UPS systems.

The course is designed to provide installers with an overview of the technology and its applications to today’s sophisticated audio/video installations.

Benefits of IP-Addressable Power Management Training will provide an introduction to IP-addressable power strip and UPS system technology and discusses the power management capabilities of IP addressability, including e-mail event notifications; remote monitoring, diagnostics, and control; automatic sequential system shutdown; and remote rebooting from any location. Participants earn 0.375 CEU

“As a leader in the power protection industry, Tripp Lite is well versed in the technology and techniques of IP-addressable power management,” said Dennis Mariasis, Tripp Lite audio/video brand manager. “Tripp Lite’s pure sine wave A/V UPS systems and select power strips incorporate this technology. The ability to monitor and control power remotely from any location is the key to more reliable installations, more satisfied customers, and fewer costly service calls. We’re excited to share our knowledge with A/V professionals at this year’s CEDIA EXPO.”

Tripp Lite will be at CEDIA EXPO, Booth 1056, with a full range of A/V solutions, including UPS systems, IP-addressable power strips, surge suppressors, racks, and cooling solutions.
