#CEDIAShares: “More K is Okay!”

Exhibitors and integrators to discover the hottest trends being discussed on the floor at CEDIA Expo 2018.

With Day 1 of the CEDIA Expo 2018 sunsetting, we spoke with exhibitors and integrators to discover the hottest trends being discussed on the show floor, and what they plan to look into during Day 2.

It’s interesting to see the large format displays and the evolutions of those products. The luxury market is on a continuous growth trajectory; I enjoy seeing how integrators are packaging audio systems with all of the high-end technology.

—Jim Garrett, Sr Director, Product Strategy & Planning, Luxury Audio, Harman

I enjoy seeing the contributed effort towards one solution. Sure, this isn’t as exciting as a technology as exciting as a product, but oh so much better for the client. I’m looking forward to the next year of products working together.

—Heather Sidrowicz, President/Owner, Southtown Audio Video

We’re excited about the continued development of remote systems management solutions, as well as outdoor solutions. These two growing areas provide an abundance of new revenue opportunities for our dealers.

—Adam Levy, Executive VP of Marketing and Customer Care, SnapAV

I’m particularly excited to see what innovations there are in LED walls this year. Every show seems to bring more and more options for LED displays for home theaters, and, being a bit of a movie buff myself, I’m curious to find out which new products will bring the ‘wow’ factor on the show floor.

—Kyle Greetham, Marketing & Communications Manager, Digital Projection

Walking the expo hall, I enjoy watching the natural evolution of 4K to 8K. More K is okay!

—Garth Lobban, Director of Marketing, Atlona
