Snap Pro Live Virtual, running from October 13–15, will feature a forward-looking, state-of-the industry keynote, 35+ training and panel sessions, and 2-1/2 weeks of post-event on-demand content. Here, we speak with John Heyman, SnapAV CEO, about what attendees can expect from the event.
RESIDENTIAL SYSTEMS: What sets this event apart from the other recent virtual events that have taken place?
JOHN HEYMAN: We believe the breadth of products, solutions, and services we offer to integrators can’t be matched, and, as a result, our virtual event will provide what they need to benefit their business —more educational and training opportunities, more new product introductions, more ways to improve productivity and profits across the board.
Our team is excited and energized by this opportunity to deliver value to our dealer partners, and we are showing up in a big way. Attendees will see sessions led by all different members of our product and education teams, they’ll have the opportunity to engage with them during “Ask the Expert” sessions, and they’ll get to hear exclusive updates and product reveals during our kickoff keynote address taking place at 2:00 PM EST on October 13.
How are the numerous brands that are part of SnapAV being represented at the event?
Our many brands, products, and solutions will be represented in content available through Snap Pro Live. We’ll have 30+ technical trainings, new product introductions, and engaging panel discussions for attendees to watch based on their interest level. They can experience everything from in-depth programming and installation techniques presented by our product experts, to business conversations led by industry peers who have learned how to maximize profits, increase customer satisfaction, and operationalize recurring revenue. During the kickoff keynote, we’ll provide an exclusive look at yet-to-be released products and a view into what’s coming in the months ahead across multiple brands.
What can attendees expect to see in terms of education? Will the courses be available on-demand after the event?
Attendees can expect to see tons of awesome educational content, interesting panel discussions, and exciting new product introductions. We’ll have over 30 sessions offered between those taking place during the live event and all the content that will be available on demand.
During our three-day live event, attendees can show up at designated times to watch our featured sessions, ask questions or comment via chat during them, and participate in live Q&A at the end of them. Because we know that integrators have unpredictable and hectic schedules, we’ll make sure all the content is available on-demand through the end of October.
Are there certification opportunities at the event?
There are no formal certification opportunities associated with Snap Pro Live, but we have created a robust selection of educational content designed to give integrators the tools they need to use our products and solutions more successfully.
Is there any content available for integrators who are not yet SnapAV dealers?
All the content will be available for integrators who want to register and attend the event, regardless of whether they do business with SnapAV today. For those who don’t, we hope they’ll attend to check out the products and solutions we can provide to make their lives easier and businesses more profitable.
How will Snap Pro Live present new product demonstrations?
All content, including new product demonstrations, will be shown via video during Snap Pro Live. Many sessions will be featured during the three-day live event during designated time slots so dealers can show up to be among the first to learn about exciting new products. For those who can’t make the live sessions, all the content will be available on-demand through the end of the month.

How can attendees interact with each other and SnapAV staff during the event?
Attendees can chat their questions and comments during the sessions taking place on October 13, 14, and 15 and there will be live Q&A time following each one. We also have dedicated time from 5:00-6:00 PM EST on each day for “Ask the Expert” sessions where attendees can show up to ask questions and engage with members of our product teams. We’ll have sessions dedicated to each of our major product brands and solutions so attendees can choose those that are most relevant for them.
