CEDIA Expo 2022 Preview

Emerald Expositions, the show’s producer, offers a taste of what to expect in Dallas this fall.

“We are excited for the full return of CEDIA Expo in Dallas this fall,” says Jason McGraw, CTS, group vice president, CEDIA Expo and KBIS, Emerald. “It has certainly been a challenging couple of years with the pandemic and yet the industry continues to thrive. CEDIA Expo 2022 will be the gathering place for the industry to see the latest products, learn about hot trends, and discover new business opportunities and skills that will drive business forward.”

McGraw reports that the CEDIA Expo 2022 exhibit show floor is already filled with more than 200 of the custom electronics industry’s leading brands, representing nearly 130,000 NSF for the 2022 edition to be held at the Kay Bailey Hutchinson Convention Center Dallas in Dallas, TX, September 29–October 1. Coming off the recent success of other Emerald events like KBIS, CEDIA Expo is anticipating a strong return to live events with over 350 exhibiting brands and more than 150,000 NSF of exhibits, sound rooms, and highly engaging activations, making this the largest gathering in the channel in more than two years. Registration is now open and the projected audience of 16,000 industry professionals can register to participate in over 200 education, training, and content sessions offered during the show week.

Registration Opens for CEDIA Expo 2022

In addition to the array of leading technology brands on the show floor, CEDIA Expo 2022 will once again host the CEDIA association’s annual conference program with more than 80 education and training sessions, an industry keynote, and more than 80 manufacturer product training sessions, in addition to the show floor stage sessions at the Innovation Hub and Smart Stage on hot topics, technology application case studies, and thought leadership from industry experts.

Attendees will once again be able to visit live sound demo rooms, high performance audio demo rooms, and a new outdoor exhibits area outside of the convention center.

Networking events like the CE Pro All Star Band and Opening Reception, CE Pro Awards, CEDIA Awards, CEDIA Party, and Women in CE Luncheon among numerous manufacturer events during the show week will provide attendees with quality networking opportunities to reconnect with friends and colleagues.

CEDIA Expo 2022 will also offer a new AI-powered matchmaking and show mobile app by Grip called “CEDIA Expo Match” that will help attendees and exhibitors easily make scheduled meetings during the event to facilitate new business and peer-to-peer connections.
