Richardson, TX–AMX has made two organizational announcements — the appointment of Alan Stoddard to vice president of sales and the promotion of Chris Westfall to national director of residential sales.
As vice president of sales, Stoddard is responsible for AMXs residential and commercial sales operations throughout North America. He joins AMX from Nortel, where he was most recently vice president and general manager of its Carrier Multimedia Networks division, a multi-billion dollar organization with more than 1,200 employees worldwide.
As national director of residential sales, Westfall will oversee sales programs and initiatives for AMXs three residential-focused vertical markets – whole-home, home theater, and MDU. He will also drive strategy for AMXs team of regional residential sales managers, sales representative firms and integrators. Westfall was previously director of business development for AMX.
