Anthem, in an effort to increase its social media outreach to a growing community of fans, is giving away an Anthem BLX 200 Blu-ray player to one Facebook fan the first of every month for the next three months.

For anyone interested, becoming eligible for the contest is as simple as signing into Facebook and becoming a fan of Anthem.

Anthem kicked off this contest earlier in the month and announced that Philip Kuryloski of San Rafael, California, was the 1st of the four Anthem fans to win a BLX 200 Blu-ray player.

“I was genuinely shocked when I looked at my iPhone and saw the message telling me I had won,” said Kuryloski after the announcement, “I have been looking to upgrade the source component for my system; the BLX-200 will provide a fantastic audio and video source to accompany my Anthem Integrated 225 and Playstation 3.”

Anthem and its sister company, Paradigm Electronics, have been expanding their presence on Facebook in recent months, reaching out to fans and users to create excitement for their new products in 2010.

“Anthem hopes to increase brand awareness and loyalty with this promotion,” Paradigm and Anthem marketing manager Mark Aling stated. “Social media has become an important tool for us to communicate with our customers and we want to show them our appreciation giving them a chance to win Anthem’s first source component, the BLX-200 Blu-ray Player.”
