Van Nuys, CA–AVAD has opened two new distribution centers in Austin, Texas, and Tampa, Florida, with six more locations slated to open this year.
Conveniently located to provide extensive dealer support and product training, and technical and sales assistance, the new locations also give customers hands-on access to to the company’s range of home electronics.
At 23,606 square feet, AVAD-Austin features a demonstration show room to display products and showcase special offers, a large warehouse space, a sales call center, and technical support experts to assist dealers, and a large training room where AVAD University’s courses are conducted.
AVAD-Tampa offers an 18,000 square feet distribution center and an all-new “technology playroom” where consumers and integrators can interact with the products. The location also features ample warehouse space, a large showroom with multiple product displays, a sales call center, two theater demonstration venues, and a spacious training facility.
The new AVAD facilities planned for 2006 are: Las Vegas, Nevada.; San Jose, California; Morrisville, North Carolina; downtown Chicago, Illinois.; Richmond, Virginia.; and Woburn, Massachusetts.
Open house events are under way, with plans for special promotions and specialized training sessions for locally based dealers.
